Q. I have an old Harmony House rug that I need to know the value of for insurance reasons. It is about 9 x 12 feet and has a green, leafy pattern. I think it may be from the 1960s or 1950s.
A. Unfortunately, the Sears Archives is unable to provide information as to the value of Sears products today. Your rug does appear in the fall 1958 Chicago catalog, on page 770, and sold for $54.95. We suggest that you consult a professional appraiser or antiques dealer for its current value.
