Q. I am trying to find out information on an old Kenmore vacuum cleaner, the Kenmore Deluxe. It has something that looks like a light on the front. I think it may be from the 1930s or 1940s. Can you help me?
A. We found your item in the fall 1937 Chicago edition catalog, on page 1000. The Kenmore Deluxe vacuum cleaner did feature a headlight on the front to "show up dirt in nooks, corners and under furniture."
