Q. When I moved into my new house, I found an old Coldspot refrigerator in the basement, left by the former owners. It is about 64 inches high and about 33 inches wide. It has been there since at least the early 1940s. (According to the previous owners, it was there when they purchased the house in 1945.) Could you tell me more about this refrigerator and give me an idea of what it is worth today?

A. On page 743 of the spring 1942 Chicago edition catalog, there is a refrigerator that matches your description. Unfortunately, the catalog information is all we have on this item, and we are unable to provide information as to the value of items today.
