Q. I have a Coldspot refrigerator with a bottom freezer that dates from the about the mid-1960s. What can you tell me about it?

A. Our search through catalogs for your Coldspot refrigerator revealed two possibilities—one each from the 1963 and the 1968 catalogs. Because the Sears catalogs did not use model numbers, the only distinguishing feature is the bottom freezer. Please find below a page from the 1968 general catalog. If this does not look like your refrigerator, you can search through general and Christmas catalogs on microfilm. For the nearest repository of microfilmed catalogs in your area, go to the Libraries section of our Additional Resources catalogs page.
