Q. I have an 8-inch electric handsaw, model no. 207.25603, with 115 volts and 10 amps. It has a tall metal case and a Craftsman logo that is red with black lettering and two slashes on each side of it. Can you tell me how old it is and if it is worth anything?

A. Your description of the Craftsman logo helped us narrow our search for your handsaw to the 1950s. We found an 8-inch hand saw matching your description on page 39 of the 1955 Craftsman Hand and Power Tools specialty catalog. For information about the current value, we suggest you contact a local antique tools appraiser or dealer.
