Q. I have an old watch face from the 1940s that is missing the band. It is a square-shaped, gold-colored womenís watch, with "Malden" written across the face. Can I get a picture of the original band.

A. A watch that is similar to the one you describe is in the spring 1942 Chicago edition catalog, on page 455. It appears to have a metal square-link band.
